Rio Metro works closely with ABQ Ride to operate several bus routes with the Albuquerque Metro area. Any bus Route that begins with the number "2" connects to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express.
• Ride any Rio Metro bus for free when you show the driver your valid Rail Runner Express printed ticket.
• All bus route numbers that begin with the number "2" are timed to meet the train.
• Rio Metro bus services run Monday through Friday, except for holidays.
• All buses are ADA compliant and are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

Rio Metro operates several bus routes in Sandoval County as well as paratransit service in the City of Rio Rancho. Any bus route that begins with the number “2” connects to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express.

Rio Metro Route 504 - Weekdays Only
This bus departs Belen before the first northbound train of the morning. It departs the Belen Rail Runner station at 3:55 a.m. and will stop at Los Lunas, Isleta Pueblo, Bernalillo County and the Downtown Rail Runner station. This bus is timed to meet the northbound train from Downtown at 5:01 a.m.

This is a bus route design to meet weekday NM Rail Runner Express trains.

Use this route to access Socorro. Only one northbound bus and one southbound bus will meet the train.

This bus departs Los Lunas before the first northbound train of the morning. It departs the Los Lunas Rail Runner station at 4:15 a.m. and will stop at Isleta Pueblo, Bernalillo County and the Downtown Rail Runner station. This bus is timed to meet the northbound train from Downtown at 5:01 a.m.
