Rio Metro RTD Temporarily Eliminates Bus Fares

Effective Tuesday, March 17, Rio Metro Regional Transit District buses and Dial-a-Ride services in Valencia and Sandoval Counties will be fare-free until further notice.

In response to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this will reduce cash and fare handling and minimize face-to-face interactions with other passengers and transit staff.

New Rio Metro customer service office hours effective March 17, through April 30, 2020.

Monday-Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
